About Protonic

In 1998, Protonic Event Partners, a German-based rental and staging company, developed their own software to more efficiently manage business operations.
In response to inquiries from partner companies in the event industry, the Protonic Software subsidiary was formed and the first version of easyjob® was introduced with great success at the 2000 International Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt, Germany.

easyjob® quickly became the standard for rental companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It was also implemented as part of the curriculum for event technology students at most German trade schools.
Prompted by interest from around the globe, protonic introduced an English version of easyjob® at the London PLASA show in 2004, followed by a U.S. version at ETS-LDI in 2005.
easyjob® has been featured in trade magazines and has garnered such accolades as the prestigious Microsoft® .NET award and the Professional Lighting and Sound Association Award for innovation.


But most importantly, protonic has earned the appreciation of hundreds of rental companies around the world who now have an easier job.
